Anyone who’s followed my journey from being a successful footballer to where I am now knows that my life has had its ups and downs. The most pivotal moment for me was undoubtedly the death of my sister, who had battled cystic fibrosis her whole life. The unfairness of her leaving this beautiful world while I lived a privileged life full of opportunities and success filled me with guilt and pushed me into a deep depression.
Unable to continue living the way I had before, I walked away from professional football and everything I had built over 25 years, starting again from scratch.
ABOUT ME
THE ROAD TO A NEW LIFE
It took me a long time to come to terms with my sister’s death. On my path to healing, after years of drifting through life, I finally found myself, along with a sense of peace, balance, and a deep connection to nature, wildlife and God. What truly helped were the incredible people by my side. They taught me to trust my intuition and showed me the power of empathy, compassion, and altruism.
I want to use my privilege to share these experiences with as many people as possible. That’s also what the '+' in my logo stands for: connection – between people, thoughts, feelings, and ideas – bringing everything together in a positive and meaningful way, because everybody deserves to be loved and happy.

With the help of others I've learned a great deal over the past few years – about how to work through traumas and challenges, fight your way out of crises, and draw energy from them to improve your life.
Because I myself want to pass on this knowledge to others, I am currently developing a mentoring program to help people tackle their personal challenges and create real, lasting changes in their lives.
